Ferguson – house Spean Bridge

D  Kelly Design were commissioned in 2006 to design a dwelling house for Mr & Mrs Ferguson overlooking the shinty field at Spean Bridge.  The dwelling house has a living room on the ground floor and a family room on the first floor with an open roof.  The ground floor also incorporates an en-suite bedroom and an open plan dining kitchen breakfast area.  There is also a car port and a double garage.  On the first floor there are a further three en-suite bedrooms and a games room.  Planning Permission was granted in 2007  and the building was complete in 2009.  The external finish was a mixture of wet dash render, cedar vertical lining and natural stone.  The roof is finished in natural slate.  There is also a glass balcony running along the front of the property with access from the main master bedroom and the first floor family area.
